Restoran Jumbo Kingdom, Hongkong

Jumbo Kingdom restaurant consists of two large restaurants, the Floating Restaurant and the Tai Pak Floating Restaurant is a restaurant where the second location adjacent to each other in the port of Aberdeen, Hong Kong.

Equally traditional atmosphere surrounded by China, the two restaurants are different in the history of creation and the capacity of visitors.

Tai Pak Floating Restaurant is first born in 1952. Very popular among locals and foreigners alike. This restaurant is visited by many dignitaries and world artists. Some famous names are listed in the list of guests is Elizabeth Taylor who died in March last.
This restaurant also has a few scenes bkasi making movies, like Love Is a Many Splendored Thing (1955) and The God Of Cookery (1996). Tai Pak Floating Restaurant can accommodate up to 400 guests. Design ship used as a restaurant deliberately imitating Chinese imperial palace building form.

On October 30, 1971, Jumbo Floating Restaurant is built, but then burned before he was inaugurated. Jumbo Floating Restaurant was rebuilt in 1976 by gambling king Stanley Ho, who is also the owner of casinos in Macau with the construction cost of more than 30 million Hong Kong dollars.
Currently, Jumbo Kingdom became a subsidiary of Meko's Leisure and Entertainment. Not just a restaurant, Jumbo Kingdom has become a modern marine park and the arena of cultural attractions.
